While this is not a financial advice blog, we still want to help you save money wherever you can. Here are a couple of tips we’ve picked up that might help you save money when visiting the grocery store.
Be ok with generic or store brands. Believe it or not, what your parents always told you when you were growing up is true – in most cases, generic or store brand products are just as good as more popular brand products, and they’re typically a lot less expensive. Why not give them a try?
Buy in bulk! If certain items are on sale, or if you have a membership to a wholesale vendor, you might benefit in the long run by buying in bulk. Of course, we’re not condoning hoarding here! If you can’t use everything you plan to buy before it expires, consider splitting the purchase with another household.
